• printer and paper to print labels (PDF – All About Me) and other images
  • 6 sheets of colored paper largest 8 1/2 x 11
  • glue
  • scissors
  • stapler
Cut paper into the following sizes:

  • 1 –  8 1/2″ x 11″
  • 1- 7 1/2″ x 9″
  • 1 – 6 1/2″ x 8″
  • 1 – 5 1/2″ x 6 1/2″
  • 1 – 4 1/2″ x 5″
  • 1 – 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″

Print labels All About Me (has stock black and white drawings of a house and a globe, too)

Find and print pictures of the following sizes:

  • your child ~ 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ or ~6 cm x 6 cm
  • your home 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″  or ~9 cm x 9 cm (or use stock graphic provided in label sheet)
  • your city – ~ 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″  or ~11 cm x 11 cm
  • your state – ~ 5  1/2″ x 5  1/2″ or ~14 cm x 14 cm
  • your country ~ 6  1/2″ x 6  1/2 ” or ~16 cm x 16 cm
  • the world ~ 7  1/2″ x 7  1/2″ or ~ 19 cm x 19 cm (or use stock graphic provided in label sheet)

Hand them the materials and let them get to work!

How much prep work you have to do depends on their age.

For cutting practice you can have them cut the labels.

Rather than images you can use black and white drawings for them to color in.
