Rest the child’s hand palm up in one of your hands and rub your palm over the child’s palm as you say:
baH ya baH 

ya-’ir-i’t too-faaH

ya ee-dayn [child’s name] al-Hil-waat a-lim-naaH

باح يا باح

يا عرق التفاح

يا إيدين [اسم الطف]

الحلوات المناح 

Hey there! Hey!

Oh, stem of the apple.

Oh  the hands of [child’s name] the pretty and good.

Then start with the thumb and put a finger down to the palm with each line:
haa-tha jab jaa-jeh 

hatha da-baH-ha 

hatha na-Thuf-ha 

hatha sha-waa-ha

oo hatha a-kel-ha

Eh-jal ‘uT Abu Ali oo-a’al (switch to a deep voice) “Wayn jaj-tee?”

هذا جاب دجاجة

هذا دبحها

هذا نظّفها

هذا شواها

وهذا أكلها

إجا القط أبو علي وقال

“وين دجاجتي؟”

This one got the chicken.

This one slaughtered it.

This one cleaned it.

This one grilled it.

And this one ate it.

Abu Ali the cat came and said,  “Where’s my chicken?”

(use a high voice and tickle the child from neck to tummy)
Ah lu-lo hone hone hone fi-bu-Too-nit __[child’s name]__ قالوله “هون هون هون” 

 في بطونة [اسم الطفل]

They told him, “Here here, here, in the tummy of [child’s name]”.
