Use the stacking blocks as a simple way to passively expose your children to the Arabic alphabet while they are mastering their gross motor skills.

Engage verbally with your child, as he/she places the letters.  Point out the letters and say their names + say the names of the objects if you know them.  In the parent resource tab, I included a list of as many of images as I could identify from the advertising.   All the visible objects coincidentally can be found in the ArabishWay Alphabet/(170+ word)Vocabulary Coloring Sheets.

As you are playing, don’t forget to throw in an occasional word or two of encouragement; “Bravo Ah-layk” for the boys or “Bravo, Ah-lay-kee” for the girls.

Click here for a pdf of the Alphabet Songs that has the English transliteration for each letter.

And here are a few of the objects I could see on the advertisement.

on the block with the letter (ن) noon is a tiger = nim-mer

on the block with the letter (ا) alef is a rabbit = arr-nab
