Title: Baa’-ooh-see/Peek-a-boo

Place a light scarf over the child’s head or if in a circle and doesn’t want to be covered the parent can hold the blanket in front of the child so he’s obscured from the group.

Wayn, wayn, saH-bit-na(f)/sa-Hib-na (m), (name here) x3 – Where o’ where is  our friend, (name here)?

Meen b’-y’aa-riff wayn ra-Hat(f)/raH(m)? Who knows where he/she went?

Baa’-oo-see!! – Peek-a-boo!!

You can say Baa’-oo-see if the child pulls it off early or if he/she is enjoying being underneath at the end of the song – you can pretend they are lost and call for them “Zayn!? Way-nak? Or Nadia?! Way-nik? or ask the group Waynoo? (m) Wayn-ha? (f) and then pull of the scarf and say “Baa-oo-see!”.

Again, I am super embarrassed at the quality of this recording but hope it gives you a sense of how to use this song in your home or at Circle Times.

I sang it both speaking to a male child (with the name Zane) and female child (with the name Nadia).
