(Start by holding hands in a circle)
doom-mee ya waar-deh – (move towards each other-closing the circle) – Close the flower!
if-ta-Hee ya waar-deh – (move away from each other – opening the circle) – Open the flower!
doom-mee ya waar-deh (move towards each other-closing the circle again) – Close the flower!
if-ta-Hee ya waar-deh (move away from each other – opening the circle again) – Open the flower!
(then put your hands behind your back turn 90 degrees and march in a circle stepping slowly every two syllables )
al-lill ba-ba min ‘ash-shee-yeh – Baba told me in the evening
‘ad-dee mnil ash-ra lill miy-yeh – to count from ten to 100
(keep marching one step with each number but then jump twice with each yo-yo)
‘ash-ra, ash-reen, yo (jump), yo (jump) – ten, twenty, yo, yo
tal-a-teen, ‘ar-ba-‘aeen, yo (jump), yo (jump) – thirty, forty, yo, yo
khum-seen, sit-teen yo (jump), yo (jump) – fifty, sixty, yo, yo
sub-‘aeen, ta-ma-neen, yo (jump), yo (jump) – seventy, eighty, yo, yo
tis-‘aeen, mee-yeh! (fall on the ground) – ninety, a hundred!
