Use the puzzle as a simple way to passively expose your children to the alphabet while they are mastering their fine motor skills.

Engage verbally with your child, as he/she places the letters, say the letter and talk about the sound it makes.

Point to an empty letter spot and ask – “Wayn harf al ‘baa’?   Where is the letter ‘baa’?  Don’t forget to throw in an occasional word or two of encouragement; “Bravo Ah-layk” for the boys or “Bravo, Ah-lay-kee” for the girls.
