Why ArabishWay?

I want ArabishWay to promote a positive understanding of the Arabic language and culture - one song, one story, one interaction at a time

I am so excited to launch ArabishWay; a website full of my favorite things that I have collected along the way while trying to incorporate the Arabic language and culture into my very American kids’ lives.

The arab-ish way is the way I have navigated between my Arab and American identity.

It’s how I adapted my culture to my location – in this case being Palestinian by heritage but being rooted in America. It’s a way for me to bring myself and my children a sense (however temporary) of identity, belonging and connection to their family.

WHAT I HOPE is TO GIVE MY KIDS (and yours) ARE MOMENTS OF CONNECTION AND MOMENTS OF BELONGING TO THE ARAB CULTURE

I am so so excited to have this platform to share my Arab-ish ideas and my collection of Arabic toys, games, decor etc. with you.  And I hope it becomes your go-to place for Arab-ish ideas and connections.
