DESCRIPTION:Tatreez & Tea the Middle East and North Africa Literature (MENAL) Festival is a two day event at the University of Washington Bothell:\n\nTatreez & Tea Lecture | January 31st\, 2019 | 4:30-6:30 | North Creek Events Center\,\n\n\nUniversity of Washington Bothell\n\n\nLearn about the centuries-old tradition of Tatreez (Palestinian Embroidery) and the meanings it carries from generations past and today as a symbol of resilience.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou can find out more on the MENAL website and rsvp for workshops.\n\nWe have amazing speakers: Tatreez & Tea! Both Wafa Ghnaim and Feryal Ghnaim-Abbasi will be presenting. I am very excited to have them on our campus and can’t wait to have them share their knowledge and craft with the greater campus community. The lecture and workshops are open to the public.
