Led by +Aziz\, whose Kuwaiti-American identity shapes the band’s music\, Kuwaisiana explores themes of Arab identity\, unity\, and cultural bridging. Originally formed in New Orleans in 2016 as an 8-piece ensemble\, the band evolved into a trio in 2022 with Yousef Shami (drums) and Brian Riedel (bass). Drawing from grunge\, indie rock\, funk\, and punk\, their music defies genre\, addressing issues such as gentrification\, climate change\, and human rights.
