As you sit with your child, you can sing the letters, talk about the letters. “I see the letter ‘baa’.” “Ah-na ah-shoof harf al [‘baa’/any letter here]!”
And then as they get even older, you can use them as a tool for understanding how each letter shifts with it’s placement within the word.
My older child loves to put them in alphabetical order because that’s her thing. She also got a kick out of figuring out which one was missing.
