DESCRIPTION:Historically\, Palestinians spent their Ramadan evenings gathered around the fire and in cafes listening to stories. To honour this long-standing tradition\, join us this Sunday at 5PM EST for a special storytelling session with Sarah Abusarar from Toronto and Fidaa Ataya from Palestine. \nAbout the storytellers: \n\nSarah Abusarar comes from a long line of storytellers. She is an Expressive Art Therapist and a Storyteller who frequently uses storytelling as a tool for social transformation. Sarah belongs to Storytellers of Canada & Storytelling Toronto. Learn more\nFidaa Ataya will be joining us live from Palestine. Fidaa is a traditional storyteller\, puppeteer\, drama-in-education specialist and actress.
