DESCRIPTION:15 FREE VIDEOS FOR CONTEXT ON ISRAEL’S WAR ON GAZA\nAs Israel’s war on Gaza continues\, and the Palestinian civilian death toll escalates\, we’ve decided to make fifteen MEF films and videos available for free online to provide historical context that’s too often been missing in U.S. media and political discourse in the wake of the Oct. 7 Hamas terror attack. Below you’ll find documentary features\, talks\, and panels on a range of topics\, from Israel’s brutal and illegal 56-year military occupation of Palestinian land\, to the role corporate news media and U.S. political leaders of both parties have played in enabling Israeli human rights violations\, to the long history of dehumanizing media representations of Arabs in American popular culture\, to the targeting of journalists and the smearing of critics of Israeli policy as anti-Semites and terrorist sympathizers. These films will be available to stream for free through January 22\, 2024.
