Falastin is a soulful tour of Palestinian cooking today from the Ottolenghi restaurants’ executive chef and partner—120 recipes shaped by his personal story as well as the history of Palestine. Sami and Tara visited Palestine together to create the book\, retracing the lineage and evolution of Sami’s country’s cuisine\, born of its agriculturally optimal geography\, its distinct culinary traditions\, and Palestinian cooks’ ingenuity and resourcefulness. \nmbar Culinary Director Carrie Mashaney will create a 3-course lunch inspired by Falastin.  You’ll enjoy lunch\, wine\, and some of the most spectacular views in Seattle.  Join us for an afternoon of great food and conversation! \nCan’t attend but still want a signed copy of the book?
