The second part of the series continues on March 7\, 2-3:30 pm in the meeting room of the Poulsbo branch of Kitsap Regional Library. \nThe topic is “A European-Dominated State in the Middle East: From the founding of the state of Israel to October 2023 ” \nWe will cover: The Nakba\, Why the formation of Israel was a disaster for the Palestinians\, An American Jewish perspective on the history\, The Occupation\, and Palestinian and Jewish resistance to it. Why the U.S. supports Israel.\, A history of the peace process\, and why proposals have not worked so far\, How Hamas gained power and what led to the 10/7/23 attack.
