SUMMARY:Resident Artist Open House: Jenna Eady
DESCRIPTION:Seattle artist Jenna Eady will be in residency at Base for three weeks in January\, in collaboration with her father\, Palestinian playwright and director Hanna Eady. Join us on January 19 at 5pm for an open house with Jenna and Hanna at Base! \nWorking in collaboration\, the Eadys use text\, movement and sound design to create environments for experiential story telling. As Palestinian artists they focus their content on personal experience while uplifting the voices of their community. In their newest project\, FLOOD\, they draw the parallels between modern day refugees and biblical stories. \nFor three uninterrupted weeks\, Base Resident Artists dive deep into their practices\, using 24/7 access to Base for development\, self-challenge and experimentation. Each Base Residency culminates in an open house that offers a public vantage point on a particular stage in the creative process. \nTickets sliding scale $5-$20 available here or at the door
