DESCRIPTION:Archaeology inspector and conservator Abou Farid shares part of his image library documenting the condition of mosaic works in the aftermath of several raids on Ma’arrat Al-Numan Museum in Idlib\, Syria as well as the independent preservation efforts that ensued. SUMMARY:Study & Action for Palestine 2025: Fighting fascism at home & abroad
DESCRIPTION:This year’s course is designed to be responsive to the current moment\, focusing on campaigns and organizing efforts within the context of the Trump administration and volatile circumstances on the ground in Palestine. This includes a focus on the way in which fighting fascism at home is intimately intertwined with fighting against US state-sponsored violence in Palestine.\n\n\nParticipants are welcome to join us and apply analysis & organizing lessons to their own work at this time\, whether their primary focus is on Palestine solidarity or something else. All of our struggles are connected! \nAll six sessions include curated study materials\, engaging guest teacher discussions\, and opportunities to share\, reflect\, receive support\, and inspire one another in small and large group formats.
