SUMMARY:Arabic Language and Story Time for Young Children w/ Laila Taji from ArabishWay at MPP
DESCRIPTION:Young children ages 2-5 will learn the basics of the Arabic language with a fun theme each month.\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout this event\n\n\nLaila Taji\, author of These Chicks and My Grandfather Has a Donkey\, uses songs\, familiar stories\, and fun activities to form a bridge from English to the Arabic language. Each month\, and using colloquial dialect\, your child will be exposed to songs\, stories\, and activities based on the theme\, 2-4 Arabic letters\, and a highlight of one Palestinian city\, town\, or village. A worksheet will be sent in advance with links to the transliterations and translations of all the stories and songs\, as well as the printable activities. \nThese sessions are free.
