Palestinian cuisine is focused on family-style meals that honor the abundance and flavors of seasonal ingredients. Join Nadia Tommalieh to learn about Palestinian home cooking traditions and how to make a bountiful winter meal! On the menu: kofta bil tahinia (lamb and beef meatballs with potatoes baked in tahini, yogurt, and lemon sauce); roz bil sha’rieh (vermicelli rice); mshaat (cauliflower fritters) with yogurt and tatbeleh (jalapeno lemon sauce); hosset silik bil zait (sautéed chard and garbanzo beans with pomegranate molasses); and homemade pita bread.
