The play is set in an automobile repair shop in the mid-sized city Herzliya. This Seattle premiere by Palestinian playwright Hanna Eady and Seattle-based playwright Edward Mast deftly dramatizes the tensions between a Palestinian and an Israeli Jew who might have known each other in the past. By the end of the play, both of their lives will be forever changed by the realities of present-day Israel.
Nov. 30 – Dec. 2: Thursday – Saturday at 8:00 PM
Dec. 3: Sunday at 5:00 PM.
We have also dedicated one performance to material aid for Gaza and all of Palestine. All proceeds from Friday December 1 will be donated to Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF).
Additional seats are being added to accommodate demand, but THE RETURN is still performed in an intimate space which can fill up quickly. Get your tickets today at https://dunyaproductions.square.site/upcoming
“The Return is a powder keg of raw, visceral emotion and a clarifying window into life in Israel. The Return is also a powerful testament to how art can serve as a vanguard of truth, hope, introspection, and the conscience of society.”
