The Palestinian Struggle for Liberation and Shifting Global Sympathy Towards Palestinians

January 10 @ 7:15 pm - 9:00 pm PST

Join us for a discussion for ages 14+ with Dr. Karam Dana, Palestinian American academic, professor at UW Bothell, founding director of AMRI, award-winning educator, and author of To Stand with Palestine.

The recent war and genocide in Palestine has shed light on the historical injustices of prolonged Israeli military occupation, settlement expansion, and the worsening daily struggles of Palestinian life. This lecture will contextualize the Palestinian struggle for liberation and highlight the causes of the growing global shift in public sympathies toward Palestinians, particularly in the United States.
