Shami Kids: Arabs and Navigation
October 20 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm PDT
(RESCHEDULED FROM SEPTEMBER!)
Let’s meet at the Center for Wooden Boats, where our kids will learn about navigation, make their own sailboat and take a trip on a sailboat.
This is geared for children ages 6 to 12 years old.
We will gather after the formal program to do a deeper dive into the Arab world. Please pack-your-own sack lunch for the second portion and we’ll present some more info to our kids about how our Arab ancestors played a huge role in sea navigation!
*Parents are welcome to observe and we will fill empty seats on the boat with adults if there is space.
Please purchase one ticket for each child and each child that will be attending.
