Sa’ed Atshan on “The Queer Palestine and the Empire of Critique”

UIC Institute for the Humanities’ Race and US Empire Working Group co-sponsored with the Arab American Cultural Center
Prof. Atshan will speak on his book Queer Palestine and the Empire of Critique (Stanford University Press, 2020) which traces the rise of the LGBTQ movement in Palestine even as they are subjected to an ’empire of ciritque’ locally and globally.
