RCF AT OLYMPIA FALL ARTS WALK

The Rachel Corrie Foundation for Peace & Justice (RCF) in partnership with Art Forces continues to mark the 20th anniversary year of RCF and of Rachel Corrie’s stand in Gaza with a rededication of the Olympia-Rafah Solidarity Mural Project (ORSMP) at Olympia Fall Arts Walk, October 6 & 7. Community activists will speak of the mural’s history, it’s impact in our community, and its future. A photo exhibit from RCF’s partners at the Palestinian Cultural Palace – a cultural, developmental, and social gathering place for youth in Gaza that aims to maintain Palestinian cultural heritage – and new elements of “Olympia’s Hidden Histories,” a project launched in fall 2022, will also be featured.

We’ll be selling our beautiful Palestinian embroidery, handcrafted olive tree wood carvings, Middle-Eastern jewelry and, also, artisan olive oil products from Canaan Palestine.
