Nothing beats the cold winter season than gathering around the table for comfort food served family-style. Join Nadia Tommalieh in this hands-on class as she teaches you how to create an array of traditional Palestinian winter favorites. You will learn how to make: Rummaniya (lentil, eggplant and pomegranate molasses stew); Salata bi T’heeniyeh (vegetable and tahini salad); homemade khobez (the perfect soft and puffy pocket pita bread); Mkhalal Left (Pickled Turnips); and Namoura (semolina and coconut cake with orange blossom water syrup).
Class is limited to 11 people and is hands-on. Includes dinner.
Students will be required to wear masks during the non-eating portions of class. Please note that event registration is non-refundable.
