Mohanad Alshieky at Bumbershoot 2019

Mohanad is a standup comedian and writer living in Portland, Oregon. He was featured as one of Team Coco’s “Comics to Watch” at the 2018 New York Comedy Festival and stars in Unprotected Sets, a new docuseries special from MGM and Epix.
Born in Libya, Mohanad brings a unique, unparalleled perspective to standup comedy. He was featured by Thrillist as one of the 50 Best Undiscovered Comedians in America and has taken home both 2nd and 3rd in the prestigious Funniest Person in Portland contest. Described by the Portland Mercury as an “undisputed genius of comedy,” he also co-hosts popular local standup showcases Earthquake Hurricane and FlyAss Jokes.
He is listed in the lineup for Bumbershoot 2019!
