Mideast Focus Film Series 2019 – Soufra

SOUFRA   (Arabic for “Dining Table”)

The story of women refugees in a refugee camp outside Beirut, in the world’s oldest refugee camp. The women deal with myriad obstacles as they grow into a community to heal the wounds of war.

There will be a light reception prepared by local Syrian refugees, beginning at 6:15pm.

The Mideast Focus Ministry will offer its sixth series of films to promote understanding of the situation in Palestine. Our theme this year is “Finding Home”. We will consider various aspects of being a refugee, in Palestine, as well as many other places in this 21st century world. We hope to understand more about the experiences of refugees who seek to make a safe home for their families.
