Joy As Resistance

Here4TheKids ConnecticutJewish Voice for Peace New Haven and the Palestine Museum US are delighted to present Joy As Resistance, a panel discussion on how to achieve collective liberation through joy, community, and solidarity.

All money raised from the evening will go towards Palestine Museum US and Palestine Legal, an independent organization dedicated to protecting the civil and constitutional rights of people in the U.S. who speak out for Palestinian freedom.

Please note: to protect our community masks are required for the in-person Joy As Resistance event.

TICKETS

All proceeds from this important event go directly to the Palestine Museum US and Palestine Legal.

IN-PERSON EVENT:

General 1 – $30: for people with privileged identities and/or economic privilege.

General 2 – $15: for people with marginalized identities or economic insecurity.

General 3 – FREE: for people with marginalized identities and/or economic insecurity. Please use the code ‘Guest’ at checkout to apply a 100% discount.

AGENDA

6:30pm – An Address from Museum Director Faisal Saleh – Faisal Saleh will address the event-at-large and ground us in the reality of the Palestinian experience.

6:40pm – Panel Discussion: Joy As Resistance – We will hear from our panelists who will discuss how to find solace in community, by celebrating life, joy and solidarity.

7:20pm – Q&A – Time permitting, we will have a few questions directly from the audience for panelist
