Join us for a one-night only pop-up with renowned Palestinian Chef Nadia Tommalieh, raising funds for Gaza, bringing unique flavors from Gaza straight to Seattle.
Come experience a delectable four-course tasting menu delving into traditional Gazan dishes, put on by Chef Nadia Tommalieh. Help spread the love and humanitarian aid to Gaza, while enjoying and learning about Gazan food, with levantine wine pairings and Palestinian sweets.
This is our third dinner pop-up at manna, our South Lake Union marketplace and cafe, where we will continue to diverse culinary pop-ups in 2024. You don’t want to miss this one!
Entry will cost $250 and the entire ticket cost will be donated to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF). Guests will have the opportunity to donate more at manna if they would like to do so.
Sample Menu:
1st course, cold mezze:
Hummus
Baba Ganoush or Muhammara
Avocado labneh dip with a sprinkle of Za’atar
Dagga (Ghazawiyeh Salsa/ Salad) with mamnoon pita chips
Ka’ak Al Quds sesame bread
2nd course, hot mezze:
Rumannyieh (Lentil, eggplant in pomegranate molasses and topped with crispy onions)
Spicy Fatteh Ghazawiyeh (meat and vegetarian option available)
Fatayer Saliq (Savory Swiss Chard turnovers)
3rd course, main course:
Salatet Tahinyeh (Tahini, tomato and herbs salad)
Sayadieh (Upside down fish, onion and rice pilaf, vegetarian option available)
Zibdiyit Gambari (spicy shrimp and tomato bake, vegetarian option available)
dessert bites:
Ka’ak Asawer (Palestinian date cookies)
Halaweh bites (Halva with pistachio bites)
Halawit Smeed (Warm semolina and orange blossom pudding with assortment of nuts)
