Born on January 3, 1988, and raised in Staten Island, New York, to a Lebanese-American father and an Irish-Italian mother. She graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) in 2014 and settled in the UK.
Stand-Up Success: She won the Laughing Horse New Act of the Year in 2018 and was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards for her 2019 debut hour, Stand Up with Janine Harouni (Please Remain Seated), which was later filmed as an Amazon Prime special. Her 2023 follow-up show, Man’oushe, earned a Best Show nomination at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
