My Name! My Voice! Workshop

I have received a 4Culture grant to host a My Name! My Voice! art workshop. This is to coordinate with my art piece, Sul.tˤa, being hosted at the Highline Heritage Museum for April’s Arab American Heritage Month. It was inspired by a minbar and holds over 200 Arabic names of local children.
Since it is a free workshop, I would like to offer if first to refugee men & women who are more in need of art therapy. Participants must be 16 and up due to the types of tools we will be using.
The workshop is open to 30 participates and if anyone in the community is able to help register any refugee adults and get them to the event, it would be fantastic.
We will have Arabic language helpers and all participates will take home their art supplies.
