(MELAW) Mentorship Kick-Off Event at Foster Garvey

Lawyers, have you ever reached a point in your career and thought, “If only I had known….” Young lawyers and law students, have you ever wished you had advice from someone who has actually been there? Mentors meet mentees!

Our Team of Minority Bar Associations (MBAs) aims to pair law students and young lawyers (from historically underrepresented groups) with mentor attorneys (from all walks of life, including allies) to support mentees as they prepare to enter and navigate their legal careers.

Participants will be formally matched, and pairs will create their own agreement regarding discussion topics, meetings, and follow-up. The formal program will last through 2020. But we hope the relationships will continue beyond. Register below to attend the Kick-Off Event on March 3rd from 6-9pm at Foster Garvey LLC, 1111 3rd Ave 30th fl, Seattle, WA 98101.

***NOTE – By registering, you are committing to: (1) attend the initial event, (2) meet with your assigned mentor or mentee at least 3 times during the year, and (3) make your best effort to attend at least 1 of the 3 additional Mentorship social events to be offered throughout the year.
