Panelists include Zena Agha, a Palestinian-Iraqi writer and poet who focues on climate change, Palestinian environmental resilience, and settler-colonial cartography; Cody O’Rourke, a Human Rights Observer with the Good Shepherd Collective which works to educate and incite action on structural violence in Palestine; and Paul Chiyokten Wagner, an internationally performing artist and the founder of Protectors of the Salish Sea, an Indigenous climate justice group in the Pacific Northwest.
There will be time for each of the panelists to discuss themselves and their work; a moderated discussion focusing on current issues impacting indigenous communities here in the Pacific Northwest and in Palestine, and the broader struggle for climate justice worldwide; and a question and answer session.
