SAWA SoCal – Arab Camp On-line

The Kids’ Arabic Summer Camp will start on Monday July13. Each day will bring you a different theme and a different adventure. Your kids will be learning about music instruments on MUSIC MONDAY, create artwork and crafts from the Arab world on TIME FOR ART TUESDAY, learn about different countries from the Arab world on WONDERFUL WORLD WEDNESDAY, listen to stories and learn about poetry on THOUGHTFUL THURSDAY and learn to cook Arabic dishes with chefs on FOODIE FRIDAY.

The content will be delivered over different platforms, including live zoom sessions, facebook and instagram stories and on the SAWA youtube channel. All content will be archived so that you can access it. They will send an email the Friday prior to the start of the camp to give you a sample of the following week. They will not be able to update you over email daily, so please follow them on Facebook SAWA and instagram @sawasocal which will have the most updated content.

They have lots of activities planned to present our culture and heritage in the most engaging way but please be patient with us as we are trying to navigate all of these new virtual platforms.
